Projects

The Brighter Tomorrow Project aims to assist underprivileged children within the suburbs of Colombo with the school curriculum they are following.

You can have everything you want in life if you just help enough people get what they want in life.”

Zig Ziglar

A majority of students struggle to keep up with the school curriculum or lack the attention required to succeed. In most cases, young children lack the necessary resources and extra attention required to excel in certain subjects. According to census data, many underprivileged children have struggled with English and Information Technology subjects, thus, deterring them from pursuing careers that require this knowledge. Consequently, the project’s core program focuses on these subjects as they will provide them with the essential skills needed to move forward in the 21st century.

We are always looking for more passionate individuals to join the cause and get involved in any way they can!

Teaching Program

Brighter Tomorrow Project partnered with the Warehouse Project to conduct a program to improve the computer literacy of the less privileged children surrounding the Sri Sangaraja Viharaya in Maradana, as well as the Blind School in Ratmalana.

The program has been successfully conducted for one year. During this time, the program gathered a large pool of volunteers that were passionate about education and helping the underprivileged. We accumulated a volunteer pool of over 100 individuals and also held teaching workshops to ensure that the volunteers adhered to strict standards.

Education Funding

The education fund will be established as a self-sustaining charity organization in the hopes of the purpose being continued and monitored by trustees to ensure resources can be allocated appropriately.
